Comparison of Amino Acid Contents between Cultivated Cordyceps militaris and Wild Cordyceps sinensis

The amino acid contents between cultivated Cordyceps militaris and wild Cordyceps sinensis(from Qinghai) were compared. The results showed that there were 17 kinds of amino acid in wild Cordyceps sinensis and all 17 kinds of amino acid also existed in the fruit body and mycelia of cultivated Cordyceps militaris. Moreover, contents of arginine and proline were much higher in the latter.
