Study on Antioxidation of Umbelliferae Chinese Herbs

ObjectiveThe ability of antioxidation for 13 kinds of Umbelliferae has been studied.MethodsThe antioxidant activitise of the ethanol extractions of 13 Umbelliferac Chinese herb medicine were measured by chemiluminescence.ResultsThe ability that scavenges superoxide radical(O_2~-)was Notopterygium forbesii Boiss.Conclusion13 kinds of Unbelliferae Chinese herb medicines can scavenge superoxide radical.
