FeSO4.4H2O is an important single crystal and there are many potential applications in optical aspect.The research about absorption spectrum of FeSO4.4H2O crystal playS a significant promoter action on its applications.This article quots an average covalent factor N and considers the electrostatic and cubic crystal field interaction.Crystal absorption spectra of the FeSO4.4H2O crystal is calculated and by using the complete diagonalizing method and some major absorption peaks of experimental results are assigned.The result shows that the calculated results are in good agreement with the experiments of the absorption spectra
