Determination of Synephrine, Evodiamine and Rutaecarpine in Fructus Evodiae with IP-HPLC

Objective To establish a rutaecarpine for determination of synephrine,evodiamine and rutaecarpine in Fructus Evodiae.Method The samples were prepared by methanol sonication,and the acenitrile-2% acetate acid(containing 0.03% SDS) was mobile phase with gradient dilution,and 260 nm was the detection wavelength.Results The resolution for synephrine,evodiamine and rutaecarpine was optimum.Their mean recoveries were 101.4%,97.6% and 98.5% respectively,and RSD were 3.1%、1.6%和 1.3%(n=6) respectively.Conclusions The method is suitable to measure synephrine,evodiamine and rutaecarpine in Fructus Evodiae and provides the quality control of Fructus Evodiae.
