Studies on Properties and Mechanisms of Geopolymer Cementitious Material

The geopolymer cementitious material that has higher early age strength, better volume stability, durability and save energy than that of portlant cement. It is one kind of green environ mental protection cement. In this paper the investigation was carried on the properties of geopolymer cementitious material. Results of properties varied with water glass modulus, the calcines temperature, alkali content of geopolymer cementitious material were obtained. The microstructure and mechanisms of polymerization of geopolymer were studied and analysed by means of XRD and SEM.
