A Novel Photonic RF Phase Shifter Using Electro-Optic Polymer

A novel integrated photonic radio frequency (RF) phase shifter using electro-optic polymer is proposed.This RF phase shifter has a simple configuration and is fabricated easily.The simulated results show that this device has excellent performance in shifting phase.It can shift continuously from—90°to 270°.It is expected that this RF phase shifter will be widely used in optically controlled phased array radar systems and phase controlled communication systems.
