Stress Analysis of Sheet-Stringer Panels with Cutouts

摘要
A method is presented for determining the stresses in axially loaded sheet-stringer panels having cutouts. The method is based on the use of so-called unit perturbation solutions that are appropriately superposed to give the effects of the cutout on the stress distribution that would exist with no cutout. The analysis of stringer reinforcements and doubler plates is carried out in a similar fashion.
