Compaction Grouting Technique and Observations

For the first time, the theory, outline of basic techniques, equipment and materials, observations and empirical conclusions of a little known pressure grouting technique used for compacting soils in situ and for lifting structures are presented. This technique has been used for 20 yr effectively compacting sands, silts unsaturated clays, organics and dumps to underpin structures and to lift structures that have suffered differential settlement.
