摘要
We present an interferometric polarimetric system that uses a voltage-tunable liquid crystal cell to quantify glucose-induced optical activity. This approach eliminates mechanically moving parts and enables phase modulation through electrically controlled birefringence. Measurements were conducted in aqueous glucose solutions across the physiological concentration range, demonstrating stable and reproducible detection of polarization rotation. The setup addresses key limitations of conventional polarimetry, offering a compact and low-power platform for continuous, calibration-free metabolic monitoring. This work contributes to the development of next-generation optical sensors for wearable and implantable applications.
