Her major is Tourism Development Management and Hospitality Management. Siying’s interests include leisure and resort Management, MICE, health tourism, adventure tourism and cultural tourism. Siying has attended two workshops on the tourism innovation led by Jane Gottelier and Haim Dotan. She took part in many volunteer works and student organizations; she was awarded the Outstanding Student Leader.Xueyi ZhaoXueyi Zhao is a junior student majoring in Tourism Development Management and Hospitality Management of HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College in China. Her interests include inclusive community, sustainable tourism, tourism planning, and international tourism. Due to her active participation in social practice, voluntary activities and outstanding performance at study, she has won the First-class Scholarship and the award of The Merit Student of Hainan University in 2019. She also has served as a student assistant for professors from Arizona State University. Xueyi’s current project is focused on cultural heritage protection in tourism and poverty alleviation tourism.Yuyan GongYuyan Gong is a junior majoring in Human Geography and Urban Planning at HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College, Hainan University. Yuyan has participated in many planning-oriented programs, such as Oxford Challenge Cup competition and tourism planning workshops. She is interested in tourism product design, tourism city planning and health tourism. Yuyan is an expert in Geographic Information System and Computer-Aided Design.Yana WengelYana Wengel is an Associate Professor at the Hainan University. Yana takes a critical approach to tourism studies; her interests include volunteer tourism, tourism in developing economies and mountaineering. Her dissertation examined the social construction of host-guest experiences farm tourism. Her current project is focused on tourism in mountain areas. Yana is interested in creative methodologies for data collection and stakeholder engagement. She is a co-founder of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® research community.
