摘要
Prestack seismic dataset contains more information than post-stack dataset. However, prestack dataset not only suffers from a much lower SNR, but also suffers from many noise types, such as coherent noise and random noise. Thus attenuating the random noise and coherent noise simultaneously becomes one crucial step for pre-stack dataset. In this abstract, we utilize 3D continuous wavelet transform's (CWT's) multi-scale property and good direction selecting ability and propose to attenuate random noise and coherent noise simultaneously based on 3D CWT. Our 3D-CWT-based noise attenuation method shows a considerable advantage on some real 3D common offset vector (COV) gathers and snail gather.
