摘要
The development of a phosphor that emits bright far-red light can meet the requirements for high-quality illumination in the field of plant lighting. In this paper, we prepared a novel double-perovskite Mn4+-doped Sr2ScNbO6 (abbreviated as SSNO: Mn4+). SSNO: Mn4+ phosphor produces far-red light with a peak wavelength of 702 nm. And this phosphor has two unique efficient broad excitation bands in the near-ultraviolet (UV) regions from 313 nm to 357 nm. The optimal doping concentration of Mn4+ ions, the temperature dependence, and the intensity decay pattern of the sample were investigated. In addition, the light emitting diode (LED) was prepared by the combination of a 365 nm chip and SSNO: Mn4+ phosphor, which can emit bright far-red light. Therefore, SSNO: Mn4+ phosphors are expected to make a contribution to indoor plant cultivation.
