A broadband metamaterial absorber based on split-rings frequency selective surface

摘要
In this article, a metamaterial absorber based on lumped resistors loaded frequency selective surface is proposed. Simulation results show in a wide frequency range of 7.4-21.7GHz, the designed absorber has an absorptivity greater than 90% under normal incidence, and the relative bandwidth of the perfect absorption is 98.3%. Moreover, the designed absorber has a good characteristics of polarization insensitivity and oblique incidence.
