Novel Oxadiazole Side Chain Conjugated Polymers as Single-Layer Light-Emitting Diodes with Improved Quantum Efficiencies

New conjugated polymers are synthesized with electron-deficient oxadiazole side chains, which exhibit 1 order of magnitude enhancement (2 × 10-2% vs 2 × 10-3%) in electroluminescence efficiency and better charge injection properties compared to those of the constituent conjugated backbone polymers.
