Preparation and Characterization of Magnesium- aluminium Hydrotalcite by Coprecipitation Method

Magnesium-aluminium hydrotalcite was prepared with A(lNO3)3.9H2O,Mg(NO3)2.6H2O,Na2CO3,NaOH as raw materials by coprecipitation method.The XRD and TG-DTA results show that the pure magnesium-aluminium hydrotalcite can be prepared at the different initial Mg/Al ratios.The thermal stability and crystallinity of the hydrotalcite increase with increasing of initial Mg/Al ratio.
