Research on Synthesis of 4-[(Trifluoromethyl)thio]-phenol

Using 1-chloro-4-nitrobenzene as raw material,1-nitro4-(trifluoromethylthio) benzene was synthesized by introducing methylthio group and then via replacing fluorination.And then the title compound 4-[(trifluoromethyl)thio]-phenol was obtained through diazotization and hydrolysis with total yield of 56%.
