Stereo-vision-enabled image stereo-matching method

The image stereo-matching,an enabled technology for stereo vision,is broadly applied in such areas as 3D reconstruction,vision measurement and target recognition.According to features of stereomatching technology,the image stereo matching methods can be classified into three categories,i.e.local,global and semi-global stereo matching methods.Moreover,several typical stereo matching methods of the first two categories are emphasized.Accordingly,the image stereo matching algorithms are analyzed.To this end,the future directions to image stereo matching are recommended.
