In order to study the effect of improving drought-tolerance of agricultural characters of maize inbred lines and exploit useful germplasm with perfect drought-tolerance,drought-tolerance of agricultural characters of 7 advanced backcrossing introgression lines with genetic background of Chang 7-2 were identified and analyzed,the method of α-lattice experiment under sufficient irrigation and drought pressure treatment.The result indicated that the efficiency for each trait was decided by the combination.The drought-tolerance of advanced backcrossing introgression lines were stronger than Chang 7-2,and the component drought-tolerants of 515×Chang 7-2,Shuang105×Chang 7-2 and 502×Chang 7-2 were better than the others among the BC2F3 populations,and 0.833、0.818、0.804 were their component drought-tolerance coefficient(CDTC).We demonstrated that the drought-tolerance of inbred lines could be improved largely by backcrossed introgression,and the efficiency was dependent upon the specific combinations.
