Dual-Reject Band FSS Design Using Equivalent Circuit Model

In this paper, a design method of dual-reject band frequency selective surface (FSS) using equivalent circuit model is proposed. Firstly, the dual-reject band filter circuit is constructed according to the requirement of resonant frequency, and then according to the known corresponding relationship between the equivalent circuit model and the FSS structure, the composition of the FSS is preliminarily determined. Finally, the original structure is optimized by optimization algorithm to achieve the goal. In this paper, two design schemes of dual-reject band FSS are given. It can be known by simulation verification that the design method proposed in this paper is very effective in the design of FSS.
