Effect of improving nurses, health education ability with PDCA circulation method

Objective To improve the health education ability of nurses, promote departments of health education quality. Methods Using the PDCA cycle method to intervene in the health education ability of nurses, according to the self-assessment, Department of theory examination and quality problems in the examination of planning, through instruction, exercises, methods of producing materials, templates and other training, after training the same evaluation, continuing cycle of plan-docheck-action process. Results After 4 cycles of health education intervention, health education ability of nursing staff in its own dimension and total, theory of knowledge, departments had varying degrees of improved quality of health education(P< 0.05). Conclusions PDCA circulation method could improve the effect of nursing health education ability, so as to effectively contribute to the Department's health education quality.
