摘要
Scientific and reasonable methods adopted in urban public transit dispatch can improve bus service efficiency, save service cost and make bus ride more convenient. Queuing theory solves service system queue phenomenon caused by demand crowd. It can be applied to bus transit dispatch optimization. Buses can be considered as dynamic service windows, passengers as service objects, dispatch time as waiting time. Service time and passenger arrival time are both approximately looked upon as Poisson distribution. Given fixed carrying passenger rate, M/M/1/N ij queuing model of bus service can be set up. According to OD survey of passenger flow, the data information can be used to determine the parameters of Poisson distribution. According to calculation of passenger quantity on bus between two bus stops, each capacity (N i ) can be determined. Then using queuing model optimizes bus dispatch. Case study indicates that satisfactory results can be obtained.
