Spectrophotometric determination of praseodymium, neo‐dymium and samarium

Abstract The Beckman spectrophotometer (Model DU) has been used to determine the position and intensity of various absorption bands in aqueous solutions of several praseodymium, neodymium and samarium salts. The extinction coefficients of certain bands of these elements have been measured, and some factors influencing the bands have been investigated.
