Detection of Salmonella by Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification Method

Loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP)is a new technology which could amplify DNA specifically, efficiently and fast in the constant temperature conditions by four specially designed primers and a chain displacement activity of DNA polymerase. One pair of primer was designed depending on Salmonella gyrB gene sequence which have been reported in genbank. The reaction was run under 63 ℃ for 1 hour. The amplication result of 9 Salmonella strains were positive and the rest 7 E. coli O216 negative; With sensitivity of 6.8×101cuf/mL, the detecting way by LAMP is more fast and sensitive and has a brighter development prospect.
