Interference in Blood Viscosity and Artificial Thrombi in Mice by the Chinese Medicine Modified Zuoguiyin

Objective To study interference in blood viscosity and artificial thrombi in mice by the modified Zuoguiyin. Methods The whole blood viscosity,plasma viscosity and quality of the artificial thrombi were examined after experimental animals drank the Chinese medicine for 75 days.Results The indexes that were examined increased with age.The indexes in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group of middle-old age(P0.01).Conclusion The Chinese medicine interfering factor modified Zuoguiyin can improve blood circulation,increase activity and decrease the whole blood viscosity,plasma viscosity,and inhibit blood thrombus formation in the experimental animals.
