On Authority, Prestige and Educational Influence of Teachers

The teacher's authority is the combination of power given by society with prestige owned instinctively by teachers and an organic unity of power and prestige. The teacher's authority and educational influence are nearly of the equal relationship. The more prestige the teacher owns, the more non-power influence he has, and the more authority the teacher owns, the more educational influence he has.
