Aiming at the influences on the physical quality,chemical quality and biological quality of forest land,under the different plating-models,the soil quality index and the soil degeneration index of forest stand in several typical plantation forest ecosystems in subtropical region were studied by using the method of principal component analysis,and the correlation and otherness of the soil quality index as well as the soil degeneration index were revealed,so that could recognize principal component of the soil quality index and the soil degeneration index accurately.As a result,NBS got the maximum score of the soil quality index,secondly were MCM and PMS,and PCS2 got the minimum score.Compared to the soil degeneration index of NBS,PCS2 degenerated the fastest,MCK and PCS1 degenerated more slowly.So the results of analysis basically reflected the situations of forest soil quality in different ecosystems,and gave an accurate assessment of forest soil quality.As the same time it provided direct supports for environmentally friendly using of fir plantations,and offered the references to the soil quality assessment of plantation forest ecosystems in subtropical region.
