Stady progress on the dietary fiber of banana-a review

Main components(especially the resistant starch)and their functions of banana dietary fiber(DF)were summarized.It was compared that the DF contents of 3 different varieties bananas and changes of banana peel DF during storage.Current status of processing banana DF was introduced.
