Review on Coal-based Carbon Foam

The developments of coal-based carbon foams are reviewed.The production process and application of coal-based carbon foam are described.The micro-structure and properties of three kinds of carbon foam(RVC carbon foam,mesophase pitch-based carbon foam and coal-based carbon) are analyzed.Moreover,the potential applications and further development direction of carbon foams are also presented.
