Changes and relevant factors in depressive and anxiety symptoms among Chinese adolescents after the “Double Reduction” policy: A repeated cross-sectional survey with a nested longitudinal subsample

The Chinese government has enacted the "Double Reduction" Policy, which aims to reduce students' academic burden and promote their mental health, but there is limited research examining the policy's impact on students' well-being. This study aims to evaluate changes in students' mental health problems before and after the "Double Reduction" Policy and explore relevant influential factors.
