Construction Quality Control of Long-span Steel Box Girder Cable-stayed Bridge Based on Adaptive BIM Model + 3D Laser Scanning Technology

Abstract To address the complex alignment adjustment and difficult high-precision control in long-span steel box girder cable-stayed bridge construction, this paper proposes an integrated quality control method based on adaptive BIM and 3D laser scanning. The adaptive BIM model, which dynamically adjusts elevation and offset parameters, calculates closure gap width, elevation and offset by analyzing current construction cumulative values to control overall alignment. 3D laser scanning is integrated to acquire point cloud data for component inspection, virtual assembly and real-time monitoring. Application in the Yangmeizhou Bridge shows closure segment errors are within 5 mm, significantly improving construction accuracy and efficiency, and providing a digital framework for similar projects.
