摘要
In targeted cancer therapy, peptide–drug conjugates (PDCs) represent a promising advancement. PDCs consist of a homing peptide, linker, and payload, allowing precise delivery of cytotoxic drugs to tumor cells. This chapter discusses the pharmacokinetic characteristics and development challenges of PDCs, emphasizing the DMPK strategies and the desired key capabilities for developing PDC projects. In addition, the targeted design of peptides and targeted release mechanisms of PDCs are explored, highlighting the difficulties and solutions in PDC metabolite identification studies.
