Aging of the body is a physiological, multifactorial and complex process. In aging tissues, growth and regenerative processes slow down, and atrophic processes begin to dominate. This article is a presentation of a case study using a therapeutic protocol to counteract facial skin aging. Combined therapy using near‑infrared (near‑IR) with non‑cross‑linked and cross‑linked hyaluronic acid leads to significant improvements in skin hydration and elasticity.
