摘要
Semi-solid lithium redox flow batteries (SSLRFBs) have gained significant attention in recent years as a promising large-scale energy storage solution due to their scalability, and independent control of power and energy. SSLRFBs combine the advantages of flow batteries and lithium-ion batteries which own high energy density and safety. This review provides an overview of the SSLRFB technology, including its working principle, components, recent development, and challenges. Furthermore, the recent developments of electroactive cathode and anode materials in SSLRFB research and development are discussed emphatically, with a focus on the performance improvement, system integration, and practical applications. Finally, future directions and potential opportunities for SSLRFB technology are highlighted.
