摘要
This dataset contains the raw and processed data associated with the manuscript entitled 'Coalescence of viscoelastic drops on a solid substrate', which has recently been accepted for publication in Physical Review Fluids. The study investigates the coalescence of polymer solution drops on solid substrates, as well as their dynamics. The study demonstrates that the coalescence exponent depends on the elastocapillary number, which is the ratio of the polymer relaxation time to the viscous timescale. The dataset includes: Experimental data files supporting the figures and tables in the paper. A README file describing the file structure, experimental conditions, variable definitions, and how to reproduce the key results. This data is made available to ensure the transparency and reproducibility of the results presented in the article.
