Research on how destination social responsibility impacts tourists’ pro-environmental behaviors is still limited. Based on the stimulus-organism-response theoretical framework, this study researches the influence of tourism destination social responsibility on tourists’ pro-environmental behaviors. Using a sample of 353 tourists in Dalat, Vietnam, and structural equation modeling, the results showed that destination social responsibility has a positive impact on tourists’ positive emotions and satisfaction. Both positive emotions and satisfaction have positive effects on tourist preference. Furthermore, tourist preference has a positive impact on tourists’ pro-environmental behaviors. The study also found that there is an indirect relationship between destination social responsibility and tourists’ pro-environmental behaviors. It has made both theoretical and practical contributions to the study of social responsibility in tourism destinations.
