Analysis on transcranial doppler ultrasound to intracranial blood flow of diabetic patients

Objective To study and analyze the diagnostic value of transcranial doppler ultrasound in the detection of diabetes and cerebrovascular early lesions.Methods Type Ⅱ diabetic patients in our hospital from January 2010 to February 2012 were selected as the experimental group,other 53 cases of the control group at the same period in our hospital were chosen as control group,patients in both groups all received transcranial doppler ultrasound test,the results were compared and analyzed.Results The diabetes group:Arterial systolic velocity (101.02 ± 10.24) cm/s,mean flow velocity (68.62 ± 5.99) cm/s,diastolic velocity (42.64 ± 4.88) cm/s,pulsatility index (4.14 ± 1.03) cm/s,and eddy current percentage was high(13.21％),compared with the control group,showing significant difference,P＜0.05.Conclusion Use of transcranial doppler ultrasound for intracranial blood flow detection in diabetic patients has higher inspection value,and contribute to the early detection for patients with cerebrovascular disease.
