Preparation and Characterization of Carbon Membrane Derived from Lignin-Phenol-Formaldehyde Resin

By preparation of a lignin-phenol-formaldehyde resin with different amounts for lignin initially, then casting to convert a membrane and finally following a carbonization, carbon membranes were prepared and characterized. Results showed that the influence from lignin amount is obviously on the pore size and other basic properties for prepared carbon membrane.
