Objective To investigate the related dangerous factors for hematoma enlargement after hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage(HICH)through the comparative analysis. Methods 124 intracerebral hemorrhage patients with HICH were divided into hematoma enlargement group of 38 cases and non-hematoma enlargement group of 86 cases.Observe the relationships between hematoma enlargement and the time for admission to hospital, the blood pressure onset, the bleeding part and the hematoma form. Results 38 cases of 124 patients with HICH were hematoma expansion, the rate was 30.65%,and the incidence of which is 40.00% within 6h,35.71% for 6-24h,16.67% for 24-48h,6.67% after 48h.Patients with SBP≥180mmHg and DBP ≥110mmHg in hematoma enlargement group were more than those in non-hematoma enlargement group. In hematoma enlargement group, basal ganglia hemorrhage accounted for 50%,thalamic hemorrhage accounted for 34.21%,lobar hemorrhage accounted for 10.52%,and cerebellar hemorrhage accounted for 5.26%;Among them the hematoma form irregular type was 72.22%,regular type was 22.73%.Statistics have significant differences(P0.01).Conclusion Early onset(within 24 h),elevated blood pressure, basal ganglia hemorrhage and hematoma with irregular shape were all risk factors for hematoma enlargement of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.
