Theoretical analysis and experimental research are carried out in depth on principle and main influences of particle agglomeration in electrocyclone.According to analysis and test,the particle agglomeration is relative to intrinsic factors which means primarily particle adsorptive and charging characteristic and extrinsic working conditions which include particle flow conditions,charging voltage and concentration.Some conclusions are shown as following: different sorts of particles are of different agglomerating performance.According as experimental results,the diameter range of talcum powder particles that come into being agglomeration is from 7 to 65μm;the diameter range of flue dust particles that come into being agglomeration is from 38 to 118μm.Particle agglomeration and separation efficiency enhance with particles concentration increasing.Particle agglomeration enhances with particles charging voltage increasing,it is worthy of attention that small particles agglomeration of talcum powder,big particles agglomeration of flue dust enhances with particles charging voltage increasing.
