Verb seconding in Old English: verb movement to Infl

In this article, evidence is presented to contradict some hypotheses of verb seconding as verb movement to Comp analysis for Old English : it is demonstrated that in general case, verb seconding in Old English main clauses involves verb mouvement to clause-medial Infl rather than to Comp, and that verb seconding to Infl applies not only in main clauses burt also in subordinate clauses
