Objective To study the influence of different concentrations of IL-2 intraperitoneally injected into mice on mononuclear phagocyte phagocytosis. Methods Twenty healthy mice were divided into five groups randomly:normal control group and four experiment groups. The mice were intraperitoneally injected with 20,40,80 and 160 U/ml IL2 in four experiment groups, respectively. The mononuclear phagocyte phagocytosis was observed, and phagocytic percentage and phagocytic index were calculated. Results The phagocytic percentages were(16.98±1.22)% in normal control group,and(39.66±0.98)%,(57.61±1.04)%,(60.22±1.32)%,(61.11±0.99)% in experiment groups, respectively. The phagocytic index was 0.21±0.048 in normal control group, and 0.52±0.032,0.79±0.041,0.82±0.057 and 0.83±0.028 in experimental groups, respectively. There was significant difference between experiment groups and normal control group(P0.05).Conclusion Injecting intraperitoneally IL-2 into mice can significantly strengthen mononuclear phagocyte phagocytosis.
