摘要
Objective: To investigate Candida albicans adhesion to silicone soft liner under different culture conditions.Methods: Candida albicans suspension was incubated with specimens under different culture conditions.Specimens with bacteria attachment were then observed under optical microscope,and micro-organisms adhered to the specimen were then removed and statistically analyzed(CFU/ml).Results: More cells were attached when specimens were incubated for 48h with shaking and media changing by 24h(P 0.001).Microscopic evaluation showed clusters of blastospore cells of C.Albicans were more spread out when specimens were exposed in media containing 5% bovine serum.Conclusions: It was found that there was significant influence of different culture conditions to Candida albicans adhesion.
