Notes on Data Backup Technology

With the advance of informationization process,data backup has become an essential part of modern information system. This paper gives an account of data backup and recovery technology,with intention to clarify some vague conceptions. The paper also proposes how to make the best use of data backup system based on off-site data backup and recovery plan,backup strategy,backup timing mechanism,tape media management and data backup mode etc.
