Progress in Studies on Pharmacological Effect of Sea Anemone Neurotoxins

Sea anemone neurotoxins are a series of polypeptide toxins which can specific interact with ion channels or neuroreceptors on the crucial target of the excitable cell,such as neural tissues and cardiac muscle cells,and have effect on physiology function.In this paper,the recently studies on the mechanism of effect on ion channels and the drug treatment on the neural tissues the Cardiovascular System with the sea anemone neurotoxins are reviewed.It would give some enlightenment to the research on application of the sea anemone neurotoxins.
