Objective: To explore the protective effects of Jujube polysaccharide on liver injury of rats or mice model induced by CCl4.Methods: Establish mice liver injury model by administration with 0.2% CCl4 and peanut oil admixture at the first, fourth and seventh day,and rats liver injury model by subcutaneous injection with 25% CCl4 and peanut oil admixture at the first, fifth days.Detecting the level of ALT in serum and observing liver pathological changes in those two animal models. Results: Mice and rats liver injury can be successfully induced by administration with different concentrations of CCl4 and peanut oil admixture.Large and low-dose of Jujuba polysaccharide can significantly lower the levels of ALT in serum and simultaneously reduce pathological changes of liver tissue in those two models. Conclusion: Jujube polysaccharide has good protective effects on liver injury in rats or mice induced by CCl4.
