Notes of Livestock Diseases and Medicinal Prescriptions in Dunhuang Documents

There are not many Dunhuang documents about livestock diseases and medical prescriptions,so they have received less attention and less research.However,these documents have important value for providing information about domestic animal diseases in the Sui and Tang dynasties.The word dictionary Sui-jin from Dunhuang documents contains names of animal diseases,and Dunhuang medical manuscripts record some medicinal prescriptions.As for the transcribed medicinal prescriptions,there are some errors to be corrected and some issues to be discussed.By comparing with the original manuscripts,this paper presents a collection of different transcriptions and studies as well as its revision.
