【Objective】To observe the optimal dose of midazolam combined with sufentanil for sedation in elderly patients during spinal anesthesia.【Methods】80 ASA I-Ⅲ patients were randomly assigned into the following groups: group I(S0.1,M10),groupⅡ(S0.1,M30),group Ⅲ(S0.15,M20),group Ⅳ(S0.2,M10).OAA/S score, amnesia, hemodynamic and respiratory changes, the adverse reactions were recorded.【Results】SBP,DBP,HR,SpO2 of the 4 group decreased in normal range,SpO2 of group Ⅳ 5 min,10 min after receiving sedative was lower than that of the other groups(P 0.05);OAA/S score of group Ⅱ 5 min,10 min after receiving sedative was lower than that of the other groups(P 0.05);amnesia of group Ⅱ was 50%.【Conclusion】30μg/kg midazolam combined with 0.1μg/ kg sufentanil was the optimal dose for sedation in elderly patients during spinal anesthesia.
