Objective: To investigate the differentially expressed gene in cervical cancer and from those in normal cervical tissue and screen out some cervical cancer associated genes. Methods: Gene chips containing 2048 human genes were used to investigate the gene expression pattern of 3 samples of cervical cancer. The differentially expressed genes were selected when two patterns were compared using computer. Results: By applying this gene chip, differentially genes 197、429 and 665 were screened out respectively in 3 cervical cancer samples. 64 differentially expressed genes in all 3 cervical cancer samples were identified. Conclusion: Cervical cancer results from many changes of genes as the other malignant carcinomas. The specific cervical cancer related genes and their function need to be investigated further.
