Parasitism of Dastarcus helophoroide on Monochamus alternatus

Dastarcus helophoroide was an important parasitoid on Monochamus alternatus.In the experiment,the larvae of Dastarcus helophoroide were inoculated on Monochamus alternatus larvae,the adults were released to the forest and the eggs masses were hung on the infested trees.The result showed the inoculation rate of Dastarcus helophoroide on Monochamus alternatus larvae was 92% and its parasitization on Monochamus alternatus larva and pupa inside the trunks was 46%.
