Railway industry has entered a period of rapid development since 21st century. According to the demand for standards, a number of technical committees have been established in the standardization development organizations, and a more comprehensive technical standard system has been formulated. This article explores the direction of new generation technology development led by standards through analyzing the standardization history, organization structures and activities of standardization technical committees in the field of railway equipment.
